DIGILOGUE (2021)

A hybrid series of studio works that investigate the intersection between analogue mark-making and digital processes. Beginning with handmade graffiti informed gestures, a 3D model is created in response then mapped with the those textures and UV printed onto the work. Finished with layered media including acrylic, spray paint and airbrush ink, the series expresses an abstract formalism rooted in Askew One’s street and studio practice. These works were made throughout 2021 while based in San Jose, California.
