Washington Center / 7 Pillars Project
An almost 20,000 sq ft mural project painted in Downtown Portland, Oregon, 2025 with support from Portland Street Art Alliance, Menashe Properties, City of Portland’s Public Environment Management Office, METRO, Hand of Dogg Murals & many local artists including: Carlos, Ruban Nielson, B-Side, Theydrift, Ksra & Jay.
7 Pillars features a thoughtfully curated collection of words that capture this pivotal moment in history while fostering meaningful community dialogue about democracy and civic engagement. Askew One and friends painted seven words across the south and eastern walls of Washington Center, LOVE, CARE, EMPATHY, COMPASSION, DIGNITY, GRACE, and STEWARDSHIP.
